Hi, I'm meghan

I met Sarah and Pat last August while attending a bridal show at London Town Gardens. Sarah was kind and sweet, genuine right from the first hello. We met up for coffee not long after, and our conversation flowed easily. I knew she was going to be a perfect match for me. That’s when I found out Sarah was an incredibly talented artist – a papercutter, uniquely enough. At the time, I could only imagine what beautiful details she would include in her wedding, and it made me so excited to see how it all would turn out!

Well, lots happened between their Quiet Waters Park Engagement Session and the wedding day. I had a baby and moved, to start with! However, that wasn’t going to stop me from being a part of their wedding day. I flew back out to Maryland a few days before their wedding and was depressed to see the weather reporting rain. The day came, and I was so happy to see Sarah’s happy face once again. The weather had not dampened her spirits or her excitement at all!

….and then I saw the gorgeous details she had left for me to photograph!! And I was absolutely dying!!! They were beyond perfect and everything I would expect from Sarah’s talent.

Sarah and Pat’s wedding was among the most intimate I’ve ever been a part of. What a joy it was to be included as a member of their audience as they shared their handwritten vows with each other. After their ceremony, the circle of tight knit friends and family expanded to a larger group of wonderful people who had greatly impacted their lives, and the reception began.

We ended their evening by sneaking them away from the crowd for just a few minutes. The weather had gotten colder and the rain pressed on, but still it was romantic to give them some time alone as a new husband and wife. Seeing them together in these small, intimate moments brought me so much happiness for them. This day has been a long time coming for this couple, and I can’t imagine a better start to the rest of their lives together!

A huge thank you to all the amazing vendors involved in making this day perfect!
