As I’ve mentioned previously, I have decided to start working more time into my last few family sessions I am taking for just mom and dad. I shoot these portions of the session entirely in film – this allows me to work on not only my anniversary-style sessions but also to get more and more comfortable with film! It’s a win-win situation for everyone and after this particular session, I am feeling ESPECIALLY pleased. The location, their outfits, and their LOVE is making me swoon. Even as we monitored their three kids patiently waiting just out of the frame of each photo, these two were still able to connect, have fun, be romantic, and get some perfect shots.
I met Carrie and her family when her baby was born 8 months ago and I had the chance to photograph them in their home. I loved having this opportunity to see Ethan grow from a newborn to a smiley, cute baby….but this part of their session was all about the parents who made it possible. Who make LIFE possible, a happy home and children who are blessed more than they will likely ever comprehend. All of that started simply – with two people who fell head-over-heels in love and decided to give their hearts a chance with one another. It was beautiful to witness a small part of that love during this session!
