I'm so glad you stopped by the blog! Here you'll find advice on planning your wedding, tips on what to wear to photo sessions, and of course, my favorite clients & people!

Hi, I'm meghan

I can hardly believe our styled shoot is only 10 days away!! I’m putting the final touches on all the little details going into the shoot, as well as preparing the super fun surprises in store for our participants (including a giveaway…!!!)

Because I want to take care of all the participants as best I can, I’ve decided to close sign-ups after THIS Saturday, December 12th. After midnight on the 12th, no more photographers will be able to sign up for this styled shoot! I want to make sure we have enough of everything, and in order to do so, I must have a final count one week before the shoot!

So, I repeat, if you want to sign up for this shoot, you must do so before midnight on the 12th!! We still have several spots open so you can save your seat now by either emailing me for an invoice, or – the easy way – just click on the Paypal button on my blog sidebar!! As soon as you sign up, you will be added to a closed group for the photographers of the styled shoot so we can keep everyone connected, updated, and in touch with each other before AND after the shoot!

I wanted to show a few sneak peeks of the shoot to get everyone excited and geared up!! One fun tidbit of information – our bride modeling for us is….a red-head!! I’m so excited. (Her husband is cute, too, but definitely not a red head 🙂 )

Like I mentioned above, I have a few fun things planned for everyone coming – including, but not limited to, snacks, some “swag,” and a few giveaways!! You don’t want to miss it!!

(And for anyone worried about the weather – don’t!! It will be overcast, but that’s okay! It will make for even lighting while shooting all the amazing details coming our way!!)

Another fun thing about this shoot is – I scoured the internet looking for handwritten love letters. I was betting on Ebay – I never bet on Ebay – and everything!! I finally found exactly what I was looking for on Etsy. When I got them in the mail, I was completely enthralled with the love story told. These letters are from Jim, in the 1950’s, writing to his darling Marlene, whom he calls “Mar.” One of the letters I got in the bundle even included a romantic VALENTINE’S DAY letter!!! It was meant to be!! Well…actually, their love story actually has a sad ending but you don’t get to find out what happens unless you come 🙂

Hi! I am interested in doing this. I am not really local, but could easily come for the day. I just have a few questions…first, would you allow a non-local to come? Secondly, do attendees get one on one (or, two) time posing the couple? I think the things you picked out look dreamy! Would love to meet fellow photographers and photograph something PRETTY to blog in the off season! Looking forward to hearing from you! thanks!
