When I finally met Heather in person, I realized that we had been emailing for months trying to get a date to work! I was so happy when it finally came together, and even happier went I got to meet all three of her devilishly handsome boys and her and her sweet husband. Her older boys are two years apart, just like mine are, and spending time with the five of them definitely fueled my dream of a house full of boys! They were fun, silly, and mostly, adorable.

We were a bit worried that shooting this family session in the middle of November would mean that there would be no leaves left on the trees. So I arrived extra early to Kinder Farm Park and scoured the area for as much golden, orange, and red trees that I could find, and made sure we started there so we could get a bit of autumn in their photos! I also found a new spot I had never shot at Kinder before, and I have to say, that is my favorite image of the whole session….can you guess which one it is?

Little CJ sure gave me a run for my money at the end of the session, making me pull out all the tricks just for a smile. But in the end it was Mom and Dad singing Mickey Mouse Club House behind me that finally got him to crack a grin! I just love this family and my time with them last week!
