Maria and Seth were adorable on the day I first met them – which also happened to be their wedding day at the Washington, DC LDS Temple. But seeing them again after they’d been married for a year? It was incredible. They had so obviously not only grown up but grown WITH each other. They felt even more comfortable with one another than they had on that day one year ago. This is why I love anniversary sessions so much!! Whether it’s your first year being married or your thirty-first, their is SO much growth that goes on in a year. Trials and hurdles to overcome, joys to celebrate. You and your spouse have changed, but so has your love! It’s changed your story.
This time, one thing that had changed was the addition of their sweet Gigi! I loved seeing these two love on this sweet little pup! They were devoted to each other, and now they have something together to share in that love with! If this is even an inkling of what they’ll be as parents…..well, those will be some lucky kids!! We really got lucky with the weather for their session. It had been pouring for hours leading up to it, and even at the very beginning of their session we had a few drizzles. But by the end of the evening, the sunset was unbelievable….as it usually is at the Howard County Conservancy. We even got blessed with a rainbow!! I loved seeing you both again, and of course, getting to meet little Gigi!!
