When it’s freezing cold in Rexburg, Idaho but you just got engaged and need to celebrate with photos…. What do you do? You take indoor studio pictures of course! The kids and I were visiting my mom in Idaho when my good friend Sarah reached out to me. I have photographed her sweet family several times:

She was also my dedicated second shooter while we both lived in Maryland and it was a huge loss when she moved away! Since then I have also photographed her brother’s wedding at the Salt Lake City temple!

All this to say – when she told me her other brother Adam was now engaged, I knew they would be the sweetest couple to work with! There was only one problem: It was FRIGID in Idaho. Windy, snowy and just downright cold. So we decided to take their session indoors to a studio! What a fun, new space to work within! We braced the cold weather for a few shots around the studio to get more of a “downtown vibe.” But we were glad to have the warmth of the studio to come back inside for!
