Jacqueline and Isaac’s beautiful wedding day began in Jacqueline’s home, with her family and closest friends surrounding her as they got dressed and ready together. Isaac and his groomsmen joined him at a nearby hotel room, where my second shooter, Nicole from N.O. Photography met up with them. Jacqueline and Isaac are one of those couples that walks into the room and heads can’t help but turn their way. I had people commenting to me, out of the blue, all day long – “Aren’t they just the most gorgeous couple?” And it’s true. They are simply stunning. Apart, they are both beautiful souls. Together, they are truly a powerhouse. They both were gracious and kind to me all day long, and allowed me in on inside jokes and treated me like a true friend.
Their Catholic ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, with nieces and nephews running to give them kisses immediately afterwards, and their arms opening wide to all of them. Afterwards, we met up at their reception at Overhills Mansion for romantic and iconic sunset portraits with the bridal party and the two of them. The weather cooperated and we got glowy, warm light at just the right moments. The cocktail party opened up to the cool, autumn evening and everyone gathered for oysters and drinks. My favorite moment of the day was watching Jacqueline and Isaac during their first dance. The way Isaac looked at her, it was as if the whole room had cleared, it was just the two of them, alone for the first time all day.
I loved my time with these two, getting to know them before and during their wedding day, and seeing the way they came together as a team to make their day beautiful and special. I am so glad I got to be with them on this day!! A big thank you to their amazing vendors:
