Since moving to North Carolina this past January, I have been working hard! Trying to establish myself as an Asheville wedding photographer requires so much more than just posting pretty pictures. Most importantly, though, I have been wanting to make friends in the wedding industry! I have joined many Facebook groups in the area and really tried to put myself out there. When I saw a post about a local styled shoot in Asheville, I jumped on the opportunity! I was so happy to arrive and find myself surrounded by not only wonderful female photographers, but a talented florist, baker, and venue owner too!

All evening long the weather threatened to rain us out, but we pushed through and ultimately won the battle! It was overcast, but that didn’t stop us. I swooned over the rich, vibrant colors of this shoot! All of the details were so fun and bold. From bright pinks, to oversized earrings and yellow shoes, I loved it all. I watched in awe as our florist added last minute touches to the most gorgeous bouquet. And, of course, knowing me and my love for wildflowers – I was obsessed with this cake!
