Bearwallow Mountain Engagement Session
Kasi + Micah
This Bearwallow Mountain Engagement Session was so much fun! Kasi and Micah exude such joyful spirits! The two of them drove 13 hours from Iowa to the mountains of North Carolina! These two LOVE the mountains. They love hiking, being spontaneous and adventurous, and traveling together. So it just seemed like the perfect fit for them to say their vows in the Smokies!
These two have been together for 5 years now! And, they admitted, they owe their love story to their mamas! Their moms are friends, and just knew these two would be a great fit together. Look where they are now! Kasi told me that Micah is a good ol’ southern gentlemen – but together, they are “complete goofballs,” and just love to have fun together! I loved their cheerful countenances and their willingness to go anywhere. By the end of the session, Micah had practically perfected his posing, and had a whole routine down for me! I barely had to direct the two of them.
At the top of Bearwallow Mountain we were met with a sweeping view of the mountains, a field of yellow, and even a herd of cattle. We all had to warn each other of impending cowpies as we walked, but thankfully all feet were spared from any casualties 🙂 While we were together, I learned that Kasi had just finished a nursing program and they dream of traveling, with Kasi doing international nursing work! Kasi and Micah’s kind and friendly demeanor makes them the perfect candidates for world travel and service.
While they were visiting North Carolina, they checked out their wedding venue. They will be saying “I do” at the brand new Winter Wood Farms in Sparta. I can’t wait to see them again this fall, when the hills are exploding with the colors of autumn!
