Biltmore Film Wedding Photography | Sam and Mike
It was such a dream to photograph Sam and Mike’s Biltmore Conservatory wedding! Everything was so flawless and exquisite. Samantha had the most amazing, custom-made wedding dress with the longest train! I loved seeing her step into this gown that was so unique to her and her style. After they finished getting ready in the same house (with Mike staying hidden in the upstairs and Sam downstairs), they had the sweetest first look in the front yard. Their family watched from the porch as they saw each other as bride and groom for the first time.
Of course my favorite part of the day was taking Sam and Mike around the Biltmore estate for their bride and groom portraits. The weather was perfect. Skies blue and clear. Everything sunny and warm. They had a stress-free timeline, which allowed us to have plenty of time for portraits. We hiked all the way to the top of the hill to get portraits with the marble Diana statue, goddess of the hunt. Afterwards, we made our way down to the front of the mansion. We took in the view of the rolling hills. Then, we ended with portraits in the garden, where they would soon say their vows.
One of my favorite moments was Samantha walking towards the aisle with her mom and sister surrounding her. But for the final walk, she stepped forward completely by herself. It was such a beautiful, powerful moment. I’ve never had a bride walk herself down the aisle and let me tell you. I am here for it!!
