I suppose Styled Shoots are a bit like running in races…you prep and you plan, you train and you pour your heart into it. And then the big day finally arrives and you go, go, go and give it every ounce of courage and hope and preparation and energy you have. Afterwards you fall on the couch, barely able to move and think….”As great as that was, I’m never doing it again!”

But then you give yourself a break and it’s not long before you’re feeling that itch. A spark of an idea, a tug at your creative heart strings….and then you’re back in the race, watching another heart-felt project come to life.

Maybe it was me daydreaming about winter, or maybe it was me pondering about some of my favorite things about living in this area….whatever it was, I could not get one thing out of my head:

Cherry blossoms.

Hope of spring. Pinks, creams, florals, soft scents. I love everything about cherry blossom season and photos I’ve taken with cherry blossoms have become some of my favorites! I knew I had to make this styled shoot come to life and I am SO excited to have yet again an incredible team of vendors supporting me! I have also decided to bring on Brandi of Charming Grace Events, and I am already so relieved with the help she has provided. Having an event planner for this shoot has once again reconfirmed the absolute importance of having an event planner for your wedding day!! I’m honored to once again have Sarah of Freckleblossom Photography join me in leading the other photographers, Katie providing jewelry and furniture, and Tracey of Whipped. Cake providing our cake! We will be adding to our team with Vintage Veils for hair & make up, Lea from Lattice tree Studio for our paper goods, Emily with Sweet and Savory Cupcakery for cupcakes on our dessert table, Vintage Affairs for furniture rental, beautiful models, and the perfect florist we are still searching for 🙂

So here’s the scoop for photographers interested in participating!!

Date: April 4th
Location: London town Historic Gardens
Cost: $100
What to expect: We’ll start with shooting headshots for anyone in need or interested! Afterwards, we’ll start shooting! A bride & groom to shoot, as well as a solo bride, invitation suite, jewelry & bridal details, gorgeous dessert & sweetheart table, and tons and tons of CHERRY BLOSSOMS! Plus, a fun group of photographers and vendors to network with, be inspired from, and learn with. Last, there will be a few fun giveaways at the end of the evening!
