Fall Engagement Photos
Laura + Gabriel
Laura and Gabriel’s rainy, fall engagement photos have completely stolen my heart – just like these two! I loved everything about this session – their outfits, the location, the autumn leaves, and yes, even the constant sprinkle of rain. Since Gabriel and Laura are currently long-distance, (and I traveled from Western North Carolina to Pennsylvania), we didn’t have the option to reschedule. We went with the rain, and embraced it. We all agreed that it was very “fall” of it to rain, and we were capturing autumn in Pennsylvania just as it is meant to be remembered.
Gabriel and Laura met while they were going to college at Penn State. Laura is a teacher in Maryland, and Gabriel is an engineer in Michigan. They are somewhat “meeting in the middle” with their wedding at the C Barton McCann School of Art in Pennsylvania. Not to mention, this is where they met and also where both their families are.
It was so wonderful to meet up at their wedding location! Now they get to have photographs here in two very different seasons. And I got a tour of the property and am PUMPED for their big day. These two decided to wed on the Fourth of July next summer! Laura and I actually met at a wedding a few years ago! She was a bridesmaid for one of my brides. I always love when that happens. It makes us feel like instant friends! I can only imagine their wedding day will be a holiday to remember, and I can’t wait to be a part of it!
