Family Photos at Black Balsam Knob | Kate + Eric + Parents
These family photos at Black Balsam Knob are special ones! That’s because not only did I get to capture Kate and Eric to celebrate their fourth year of marriage, but Kate also invited her parents to join them in their session. Her parents were just a few months shy of celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary! How amazing is that! Kate told me this was her parent’s first ever photo session together. She really wanted to gift them with this experience. She knew photos would be something they love, but would never do for themselves. They were so much fun to capture together. I was so inspired by each of their wonderful relationships with one another. And of course, we can’t forget sweet Odin, Kate and Eric’s oh-so-adorable Labrador. This was his debut as a model, and he was such a good boy!
Kate said they wanted photos up in the mountains with rolling hills, autumn colors, and tall grass. Something romantic, natural, timeless. Just see for yourself, but I think we delivered exactly that!
