I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Minter family. They moved into the area from Southern California about six months ago, and I met her through my church Facebook group before I met her in person. We soon invited their family over for dinner, and were especially happy to learn they had a little boy the same age as ours. They got along so well that night, and ever since then they have been the best of buds.

When I first started thinking of asking someone to watch my boys on Monday, Ali was the first person to come to mind. I had seen her interact with my kids on several different occasions, and Rhenner seemed to take a liking to her (which is rare, especially when I am in clear sight). I had also observed both Ali and Jared serving the people around them consistently and selflessly. Whenever anyone posts on the church Facebook group, asking for help or a place to stay, Ali and Jared never hesitate to help. I’ve been blown away by their ease and willingness to put others’ needs before their own comfort, schedules, or convenience.

The boys love going to the Minter’s home on Mondays. Axton and Jaden basically act like brothers at this point – fighting and chasing and laughing the whole day through. And Rhenner has been known to fall asleep with Jared a time or two – something he hardly even does for us!

So when Ali texted me and shared the oh-so-exciting news with me that they were expecting baby number two, I was positively thrilled for them and their growing family! We arranged for a super fun photo session so they could announce to friends and family that they were expanding from three to four, and we had a blast at Kinder Farm Park. Ali made much cuter posters and chalkboards than I am ever capable of making, and Jaden even got to dress up as a super hero! He is going to be such a sweet big brother and I can’t wait to meet their next adorable child!
