Pursell Farms Wedding | Sara + Sawyer

Shooting a Pursell Farms wedding was a dream – but to have a couple like Sara and Sawyer was more than I could ever ask for. All of my clients are special, but there was just something about these two that I’ll never get over! I first met these two when Sawyer was looking for someone to photograph his proposal to Sara. Him and I schemed over a tree farm photo session, in which he had decorated a Christmas tree with ornaments spelling out, “Marry Me.” Witnessing this special moment sealed the deal: I would never forget these two!

Sara and Sawyer handled the rescheduling of their wedding due to Covid with such grace and patience. They pushed their celebration back months, despite already having waited for so long. Their gratitude and love for finally being able to get married was felt throughout their whole day.

The Wedding Day

Everything could not have been more perfect. The weather held out, the details were impeccable, the band and dance party amazing. But of course my favorite moment of the day was getting Sara and Sawyer all to myself for just a few moments of romantic portraits immediately following their ceremony. They seemed so relieved to have finally made it. These pictures are so relaxed and happy – they are just my favorite!

Sara and Sawyer…I just can’t say enough good things about them. Sara is JOY personified. Outgoing, always smiling and laughing, bubbly but still down to earth and genuine. Sawyer has a confident kindness that instantly wins everyone over. He’s quiet but not shy, and he’s clearly head over heels for Sara. Their love radiates for miles, and everyone near them feels it. I will forever call this wedding and these two a favorite.
