The Bradford Wedding Venue in North Carolina

The Bradford Wedding Venue in North Carolina was a HUGE bucketlist venue for me! So when the ever so talented Katie from Katie Brooks Event Co reached out about photographing a styled shoot there, I was all in! Just wait until you see how stunning everything turned out! We had three different looks for our tablescape. One was a simple, yet elegant design with minimal details and muted tones. The second set up came to life with a burst of color from impeccable florals. Lastly, we moved the table from inside to outdoors in front of the Bradford for a classy, Euro-inspired backdrop. But I’m getting ahead of myself here….

Getting Ready

First, let’s start with the beautiful getting ready space you’ll have as a bride the morning of your wedding! Theses rooms are so cozy while still being elegant. You’ll feel pampered the moment you set your bags down here! Scroll down to the vanity – can’t you just imagine how gorgeous a bridal portrait would be in front of that mirror?

The details

Are you the kind of bride who has planned for lots of gorgeous details to be photographed? Delicate bouquets, perfectly paired invitation suite, your mother’s veil, your grandmother’s jewelry – whatever it might be, the Bradford has the lighting and location to capture it perfectly.

The Bridesmaids

Having your bridesmaids with you on your wedding day is so special! I loved having some time to photograph just these girls before we brought in our guys! Once again, everywhere you look at the Bradford is a stunning photo opportunity. Especially when you’ve rented a hot rod from WeddingCars.Rent like we did! Such a fun addition to this shoot!!

The Reception

The reception is when you and your (new!) spouse can finally unwind, relax, and enjoy the family and friends who have traveled so far to be with you! Sharing a beautiful space and meal with them to thank and honor them is so important and special. Your table decor and the layout of the room can really contribute to a meaningful environment. Katie and Daria from Dream Events by Daria really took this to heart when creating the space for the reception. They started with a simple, muted set up and then gradually built upon each look with bursts of color and flowers!

The Ceremony

Now, pretty flowers are nice and all but we haven’t forgotten why we’ve really planned and prepped for this day. It’s to celebrate and join together two people forever! The ceremony is likely the quickest part of the day, but arguably the most important! It’s where you’ll say your vows and make promises to one another. It may be where you see your spouse for the first time that whole day! This is really where the emotion will come through for most couples.

 

The Getaway Car

The Getaway Car is sometimes an overlooked detail that can truly make your evening special. Having something fun to ride off in adds to the magic of your day! Plus, it makes for the most beautiful and fun prop to include in portraits! Be sure to reach out to — if you’re considering renting a fun and unique vehicle for your day.

Indoor + Outdoor Options

The Bradford offers a few different options for dinner + dancing. There is the courtyard, the ballroom, or outdoors. Each one offers beautiful spaces for a good party!
