I know when Michelle and Logan send a couple my way, that I am going to love them. Megan and BJ were no exception. They told me they wanted their engagement session to be somewhere with mountains and trees, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to shoot up at Tibble Fork Reservoir for the first time. It was an absolutely perfect evening with clear skies and bright colors bouncing off the lake and mountain. As we chatted, I learned that Megan and BJ had been dating just before Megan left to go on her LDS mission. When she left, she didn’t think he would still be available when she got home 18 months later. But they kept in touch for the next year and a half, and when she returned, they picked things up again. I loved hearing Megan tell me that when she saw BJ again after her mission, that she just knew this would be a good thing to pursue, and that she was the one to chase after him this time!
These photos have become some of my very favorite engagements! These two fell so perfectly into laughter and poses with each other, and the mountain vibe fit perfectly with their personalities. They love to be outdoors and exploring together, and it shows in their images! They’ll be getting married in the Rexburg Temple this September and I can’t wait to see their pics from Michelle & Logan!!!
