Morning Glory Farm Wedding Inspiration
This past summer, my fellow photographer friend Amanda Somerville Photography and I wanted to put together a styled shoot. As we brainstormed ideas, we felt drawn to the quaint and beautiful Morning Glory Farm in Unionville, North Carolina. Funnily enough, this is actually where Amanda had her own wedding! We were hoping for Secret Garden vibes with lush mauve pinks, spring-inspired florals, and the deep jewel tones of figs and pears.
…And while we had incredible vendors that brought our vision to life, we also got one thing we weren’t expecting: RAIN. Tons and tons of rain! We were constantly monitoring the weather radar. Finally, we had a 15 minute break from the mist! We all sprinted out, helped Madison set up our table decor, snapped as many photos as we could as FAST as we could, and then turned around and put it all away again as it began to rain once again. Even though we were really hoping to take our models (a real life couple who just had a baby!), all around the grounds of Morning Glory Farm, we made the most of our indoor studio session.
We played with the most stunning invitation suite from Dear Kathryn Invitations, and florals from Santara Flowers. We even acquired Bella Belle shoes that blew us all away! I’m in love with this whole session and so happy the rain didn’t completely derail our plans!
