Bridal Portraits in Sylva, NC | Lanae
Taking Lanae’s bridal portraits in Sylva was absolute delight. We met at her uncle’s property, where she felt at home. The mountains were oozing with the glow of the sunset. The weather was perfect, and of course Lanae was stunning. I always love when my brides choose to take bridal portraits before the wedding day! It allows us to accomplish so much! For one thing, it gives my brides a chance to test out their hair and makeup and see how it will photograph. Brides can also test the movement and fit of their dress in some of the poses I’ll have them in during the wedding day. Taking bridal portraits gives us the freedom to plan for the perfect location and weather conditions! On a wedding day, you have to take whatever the weather gives you but that’s not the case for your bridal portraits! You also get to wear your dress! You most likely spent good money on that dress, so you might as well get as much out of it as you can!
If you’re contemplating doing bridal portraits before your wedding day, you should also know that it will give you TIME back on your wedding day. Rather than worrying and hurrying through bridal photos on the day of your wedding, we will of course still take some! But we won’t feel pressure when we have to stick to the wedding day timeline, because you will know you will already have taken beautiful photos in your dress. It’s a fun session that is well worth your time and investment!
