Lanae + Eric | A Parker Mill Wedding in Sylva, North Carolina

Lanae and Eric’s Parker Mill Wedding in Sylva, North Carolina was the most beautiful day! Despite a rainy forecast, we were still able to capture the most stunning photos! The day begin with Lanae getting ready with all her girls: her mom, niece, and bridesmaids. Lanae had thoughtful details that kept her late father close to her heart. My favorite being a locket with a photo of them together and a note in his handwriting engraved on the other side.

Another favorite detail was the sign the ring bearer carried as he walked down the aisle. You’ll have to scroll down to see that adorableness! Lanae’s brother walked her down the aisle to a tearful groom, where they shared more tears and also laughter during their vows. The rain was threatening to pour on us after the ceremony ended. Despite that, we still squeezed in portraits of the bridal party and family. Including a sweet generational photo of Lanae with her mother and grandmother’s hands and rings. What a treasured heirloom! Then, of course we were able to get romantic portraits of the newlyweds!

Later that evening, Lanae’s brother and sister both brought her out onto the dance floor to honor their father that was dearly missed that day. Their reception was full of music, good food, tears and joy, and an epic sparkler exit to send the two of them off to their honeymoon!
